Colin Burwell, the 25 year old entrepreneur, is the man behind the Cup. He’s been running his business since 2005 and has explored many pockets of videography, photography and public relations. Empty Cup’s current home is in Whitby, Ontario – a distant suburb of Toronto.
Colin has an interest in Buddhism and draws lessons from the lifestyle to use in his business approach. Aside from cameras and computers, Colin lives an active lifestyle. Gymnastics, break dancing, and BMX’ing keep him busy during the daytime hours. He’s down to earth, super cool and would love to chat about ideas, weddings or cameras with you.
In February/November, 2008 (that’s not a typo) Colin met the girl of his dreams and he is now running his business with her by his side. Together, “work” is much less work than it already was. It’s one thing to do what you love for a living, but to do what you love with who you love… that’s a real way to wake up every morning
