Colin Burwell, the 26 year old entrepreneur, is the man behind the Cup. He’s been running his business since 2005 and has explored many pockets of videography, photography and public relations. Empty Cup’s current home is in Whitby, Ontario – a distant suburb of Toronto.
He and the girl of his dreams, Carla, manage the company together full time in Southern Whitby just off highway 401. Together, they manage the blog, website and Facebook fan page, book consultations, shoot photo and video projects of varying size from a variety of individual and corporate clients, edit our material all in house, package the material and put the polish on right up until the end. Outside of the office walls, C2 watches movies, bikes, plays board games, listens to good music, and spend time with the people we care about.
Colin,
Your blog’s great! I really admire what you’re trying to do – growing a business in the same way you live your life. There are days when I wish I had more of your tenacity.
Keep up the good work,
Paul
Hey, guys, it’s Andrea from the Zombie thing at Southwood. I just wanted to thank you guys so much for the elective in November; we’re still laughing at all the outtakes! We had (probably way too much) fun, and even now are tempted to take out our cameras and film a second movie!
Thanks for everything!
Andrea
Thanks for commenting on our blog Andrea! The elective was a blast to teach, and the movies you guys came up with were hilarious. Glad to hear that you’re inspired to keep shooting…use that camera as much as you can. You’ll never run out of things to shoot with your creativity. We’re launching a new site in about a month and your zombie movie will be posted under the education section. Be sure to check it out!

Hi Bri,
